Physical Therapist

About the Role

This full-time Physical Therapist position offers the opportunity to deliver evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation services to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and medical conditions. You'll work within a collaborative hospital environment where your clinical expertise directly influences patient outcomes and recovery trajectories.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and evaluations to establish baseline function and identify rehabilitation potential
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans targeting mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions using evidence-based techniques and modalities
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment protocols based on clinical response, and communicate outcomes to the interdisciplinary care team
• Document patient care activities and progress in electronic health records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient recovery
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, home programs, and adaptive strategies for sustainable independence

What We're Looking For

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Louisiana
• Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Knowledge of rehabilitation principles, therapeutic exercise, and clinical assessment methods
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary healthcare environment
• Professional commitment to staying current with evidence-based practice standards
