About the Role
As a Clinical Fellowship Speech Language Pathologist, you'll deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to children with diverse communication and swallowing needs. You'll provide direct patient care in our Wilmington clinic, develop customized treatment plans, and collaborate closely with families to support progress both in our facility and in their everyday environments.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child's communication goals
- Provide direct one-to-one speech therapy sessions in a clinical setting
- Document patient progress, maintain clinical records, and prepare professional reports
- Partner with parents and caregivers to extend therapy strategies into home and school settings
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care
- Engage in clinical supervision, mentorship, and professional development
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or pending SLP certification (CCC-SLP) or equivalence
- State licensure in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to evidence-based pediatric speech-language pathology practice
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team environment
- Genuine passion for supporting children's communication development
