Join Stiles as a Territory Sales Representative/Sales Engineer in Boston, Suffolk County, where you'll drive sales growth and provide technical expertise to manufacturing clients throughout your dedicated region. About the Role
You'll own a geographic territory, managing relationships with established manufacturing customers while prospecting for new business opportunities. Your success depends on understanding the technical side of our machinery solutions and translating that expertise into compelling sales conversations that address real manufacturing challenges.
What You'll Do
- Build and execute a sales strategy for your assigned territory, targeting manufacturing operations that need machinery upgrades and productivity improvements
- Conduct discovery meetings with manufacturing decision-makers to understand their operational challenges and requirements
- Present Stiles' world-class machinery, parts inventory, and upgrade solutions with technical confidence and clarity
- Demonstrate how our equipment and responsive support services deliver measurable efficiency gains for each customer
- Establish long-term partnerships through consultative sales approaches and attentive account management
- Work alongside Stiles' support team and nationally accredited training specialists to ensure customer success
- Manage your sales pipeline, track activity metrics, and consistently meet regional targets
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on sales experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or similar B2B technical environments
- Ability to learn and communicate machinery specifications and technical benefits to manufacturing professionals
- Proven track record managing defined territories and achieving sales goals
- Consultative mindset centered on understanding customer problems and building solutions
- Willingness to spend significant time in the field visiting manufacturing facilities and building relationships
- Strong organizational skills and reliable follow-through in customer commitments
