About the Role
As an Automotive Technician, you'll diagnose vehicle problems, perform repairs, and maintain customer vehicles at one of our Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus, or Wheel Works locations. You'll use specialized diagnostic equipment and your technical expertise to ensure every customer leaves satisfied with quality workmanship and professional service.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using modern testing and diagnostic tools
- Perform tire services including installation, balancing, rotation, and repair
- Complete preventive maintenance such as oil changes, fluid replacements, and filter service
- Execute brake system, suspension, engine, and transmission repairs
- Document all work performed and communicate findings and recommendations to customers
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment and follow all safety protocols
- Support team members to meet customer service and productivity goals
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Prior automotive technician or service experience
- Working knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures
- Ability to read technical manuals and service documentation
- Precision, attention to detail, and commitment to quality work
- Strong interpersonal and customer communication abilities
- Capability to lift heavy items and work in various physical positions
