Canon USA & Affiliates is hiring a full-time Print Fleet Specialist to manage and optimize our printing equipment operations at our Grand Central location in Manhattan. About the Role
As Print Fleet Specialist for Canon USA & Affiliates, you'll oversee the maintenance, deployment, and performance of our multifunction printers and related printing devices across the organization. Working from our Manhattan office near Grand Central, you'll be the technical point of contact for equipment issues, preventive maintenance scheduling, and fleet analytics. This is a hands-on role that combines technical support with inventory and asset management.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and maintain Canon and affiliated print systems to ensure uptime and reliability
- Diagnose hardware and software issues, performing repairs or coordinating with vendors as needed
- Track inventory of consumables, parts, and devices across the fleet
- Schedule and document preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan
- Generate usage reports and recommend optimization opportunities to reduce costs
- Support end users with printer connectivity, driver installation, and troubleshooting
- Coordinate equipment upgrades, replacements, and decommissioning
- Maintain detailed records of all fleet activity and service history
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience managing or supporting printer fleets or multifunction devices
- Technical proficiency with Canon, Xerox, or comparable enterprise print systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on hardware experience
- Ability to document processes clearly and manage asset databases or spreadsheets
- Customer service skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
- Self-motivation to work independently while meeting SLAs and deadlines
- Willingness to learn new technologies and vendor platforms
