Disclosure Officer

Join Leidos as a Disclosure Officer in our Intel Sector Analysis Solutions Business Area, based in Tysons Corner, Fairfax County. This full-time position plays a critical role in ensuring compliant foreign technology and information-sharing practices within our security-focused operations.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Disclosure Officer to manage export controls, classification reviews, and authorization processes for international partnerships and collaborative initiatives. You will serve as a key gatekeeper ensuring that sensitive technologies, technical data, and intelligence-related information flow only through proper legal and regulatory channels. This position requires meticulous attention to compliance, strong communication with cross-functional teams, and deep familiarity with federal disclosure policies.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate proposed international technology transfers and information sharing against federal export control regulations and disclosure guidelines
• Review technical documentation, software, and systems to determine classification level and disclosure authorization status
• Coordinate with security, legal, and program teams to ensure all foreign national interactions and partnerships meet compliance requirements
• Maintain records of disclosure decisions and provide audit-ready documentation for regulatory review
• Research and stay current on evolving disclosure policies, executive orders, and intelligence community guidance
• Support briefings and training on disclosure requirements for engineering and operations staff

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, security studies, engineering, or related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and federal information security regulations
• Experience in export control compliance, classification management, or foreign disclosure roles
• Ability to analyze technical specifications and assess disclosure risk
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex compliance topics
• Clearance eligibility or existing security clearance preferred
