IT On-Site Support Technician

WSP is seeking a full-time IT On-Site Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support at our Tampa, Hillsborough County locations. In this role, you'll be the on-site technology expert our teams depend on, resolving hardware and software issues that require a physical presence and keeping our workforce productive.

About the Role

As an IT On-Site Support Technician, you'll be a critical part of WSP's unified IT support ecosystem, which combines remote help desk services, tech bars, self-service resources, and on-site technical expertise. Your mission is to diagnose and resolve technology issues at our various office locations, providing direct support to employees and ensuring reliable IT operations across the company.

What You'll Do

• Respond to IT support requests from employees at WSP's Tampa-area facilities
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues including computers, printers, peripherals, and networking equipment
• Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on IT equipment to keep systems running reliably
• Document support tickets and maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions
• Collaborate with the remote help desk team to escalate complex issues and share technical solutions
• Provide user training and guidance on technology tools and best practices
• Travel between WSP locations in Hillsborough County to support multiple office sites

What We're Looking For

• Technical proficiency with Windows and/or Mac operating systems
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity problems
• Familiarity with common business applications and IT support tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication abilities and a customer-service mindset
• Willingness to work full-time and travel between office locations in the Tampa area
