Amazon is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Technical for the Timestream team, based in International, King County. This is a full-time role where you'll drive product strategy and technical direction for one of the fastest-growing managed database services in the cloud, serving mission-critical workloads in IoT, observability, and real-time analytics across enterprises worldwide.
About the Role
As Senior Product Manager – Technical on the Timestream team, you'll guide the evolution of a managed time-series database platform experiencing explosive growth. You'll work at the intersection of product strategy, customer needs, and technical architecture, owning the roadmap for services that power next-generation applications in observability and real-time data analytics. Your decisions will directly impact how thousands of organizations—from leading financial institutions to advanced aerospace companies—build faster, smarter applications.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute product strategy for Amazon Timestream, a rapidly scaling service supporting IoT, observability, and real-time analytics use cases
- Partner with engineering, go-to-market, and customer teams to prioritize features and architectural improvements
- Conduct deep technical dives into customer challenges and translate them into compelling product requirements
- Work closely with enterprise customers such as Goldman Sachs and Blue Origin to understand their most critical requirements
- Shape the product roadmap for Timestream for InfluxDB and related database services
- Drive adoption and influence the broader managed database ecosystem
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with managed services, databases, or cloud infrastructure
- Strong technical background with comfort diving deep into architecture, distributed systems, and scalability challenges
- Demonstrated ability to influence across engineering, sales, and executive leadership
- Experience with time-series data, observability, IoT, or real-time analytics (a strong plus)
- Passion for understanding customer workflows and translating them into product direction
- Track record of driving product adoption in fast-growing markets
