About the Role
As a New Graduate Nurse, you'll step into a supportive clinical environment where you'll develop your skills as a member of our hemodialysis team. While awaiting or recently obtaining your nursing license, you'll work under the supervision of experienced nurses, learning the specialized care required in dialysis treatment. This role is designed for graduates of accredited nursing programs to transition seamlessly into professional practice.
What You'll Do
- Provide compassionate patient care under clinical supervision, ensuring comfort and safety during hemodialysis treatments
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient responses throughout therapy
- Assist with vascular access care, machine setup, and treatment protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients about their care and answer questions about their treatment
- Follow established clinical procedures and safety protocols with attention to detail
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary dialysis team to support optimal patient outcomes
- Document observations and care activities according to facility standards
What We're Looking For
- Recent graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- RN license obtained or eligible for licensure in Ohio
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Physical ability to meet the demands of dialysis nursing
