About the Role
As our Maintenance Technician, you'll be the backbone of our operations team. Your work keeps our hotel running smoothly, prevents costly downtime, and contributes directly to our guests' experience. This is a hands-on position where your technical expertise and attention to detail make a real difference every day.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive inspections on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests, diagnosing and fixing issues efficiently
- Conduct regular building inspections to identify damage, wear, and safety concerns before they escalate
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and document work completed for compliance and historical reference
- Keep the property secure by monitoring locks, alarms, and access points
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance in daily operations
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar hands-on maintenance role
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and make repairs independently or escalate appropriately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player who takes pride in keeping the property in excellent condition
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Valid certifications (EPA, HVAC, electrical) a plus
