About the Role
C2 Technologies seeks a detail-oriented maintenance technician to support the operational readiness of C-17 flight simulators and maintenance training equipment. Working under the supervision of your Shift Lead, you'll perform essential maintenance activities that keep these sophisticated systems running smoothly. This entry-level role is an excellent foundation for technicians who want to build expertise in aviation simulation systems and advance within our organization.
What You'll Do
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and system checks on C-17 flight simulators and associated training equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using technical documentation and established procedures
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure simulator availability and peak performance
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, component replacements, and system status in required logs
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, maintenance standards, and operational compliance requirements
- Collaborate with your Shift Lead and maintenance team to coordinate repairs and equipment readiness
- Assist with equipment modifications, upgrades, and system enhancements as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical documentation and maintenance procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
- Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn complex simulation systems and aviation maintenance principles
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background investigation
- Availability to work shifts as required by operational scheduling
