Automotive Mechanics

Mavis Tire Supply is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics to join our team at our service center in Vestal Gardens, Broome County, New York. This is a full-time position where you'll apply your mechanical expertise in a modern automotive facility.

About the Role

We're looking for dedicated Automotive Mechanics to perform a variety of maintenance, diagnostic, and repair services. You'll work in one of our established service centers, supporting both our tire sales operations and broader automotive repair services in the Vestal area. This role offers the opportunity to work with quality equipment and a professional team committed to customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in customer vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluid checks, and tire service
• Conduct brake inspections and repairs
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and identify additional service needs
• Document all work performed and communicate findings to service advisors
• Adhere to safety standards and shop procedures
• Work effectively with service staff and customers

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience as an Automotive Mechanic
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and shop equipment effectively
• Reliable, team-oriented work ethic
• Physical capability to perform the duties of the role
• Customer service awareness and communication skills
