Construction Supervisor – Transmission, Distribution, Substation

ENTRUST is hiring a full-time Construction Supervisor in Marlborough, Middlesex County to lead and manage the execution of transmission, distribution, and substation construction projects in the Boston area. As Construction Supervisor, you'll oversee all phases of construction operations, ensuring projects meet schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements while directing crews at active client work sites.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position overseeing general construction projects from planning through completion. You'll be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing timelines and resource allocation, and ensuring all work meets the client's specifications for cost control, material efficiency, and safety compliance. The role requires you to be on-site regularly, working directly with field teams and subcontractors to maintain project momentum and quality standards. You must have knowledge of transmission, distribution, and substation construction practices, or the ability to quickly master them in this role.

What You'll Do

• Plan and schedule construction activities to meet project deadlines and client deliverables
• Direct and supervise field crews, subcontractors, and laborers at active construction sites
• Manage project costs, material usage, equipment allocation, and labor productivity
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company safety procedures
• Monitor construction quality and ensure work meets specifications and client expectations
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders on project status and changes
• Maintain accurate records, daily logs, and documentation required for project closeout
• Identify and resolve on-site issues, delays, and resource constraints proactively

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience supervising construction projects, preferably in transmission, distribution, substation, or related utility work
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, equipment, safety standards, and field management practices
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
• Valid driver's license required; must be able to work on-site in the Boston area consistently
• Construction supervisor certifications or relevant construction management experience strongly preferred
