This is a full-time position ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional ready to grow expertise in one of the most challenging and rewarding practice areas.
About the Role
As a Trusts & Estates Litigation Paralegal at Weed Law Group, PC, you'll be at the center of probate and trust disputes—from initial client intake through trial preparation. You'll work directly with attorneys on cases ranging from will contests to fiduciary breach litigation, managing deadlines, evidence, and client communications in a fast-paced environment. Your organizational skills and legal acumen will be essential to building strong cases and ensuring smooth case progression.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and discovery documents in trusts and estates litigation matters
- Conduct legal research on estate law, probate procedures, and fiduciary duties
- Manage discovery processes, including document review, interrogatory responses, and deposition coordination
- Maintain detailed case files and timeline documentation for complex litigation
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather information and build case strategy
- Draft correspondence, legal memoranda, and trial preparation materials
- Coordinate with court clerks, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses
- Support attorneys in trial preparation and attend court proceedings as needed
What We're Looking For
- Paralegal certification or equivalent legal experience in civil litigation
- Strong knowledge of trusts, estates, probate, or civil litigation practice preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with legal research tools and document management systems
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
- Attention to detail and high organizational standards
- Professional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and clients
