About the Role
As Front of House Manager at this New York restaurant, you'll oversee all guest-facing operations and lead a dedicated team committed to refined service. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll directly shape the dining experience and build a culture of excellence in the front of house.
What You'll Do
- Manage daily front-of-house operations and coordinate guest flow throughout the dining room
- Lead, train, and mentor FOH staff to deliver consistently excellent service
- Maintain reservation management and optimize table turnover
- Build relationships with guests and respond thoughtfully to feedback and special requests
- Collaborate with culinary and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Uphold and reinforce service standards aligned with the restaurant's hospitality vision
What We're Looking For
- 1 to 2 years of proven front-of-house management experience
- Demonstrated professional stability, with a minimum of 2+ years at each previous position
- Strong understanding of elevated dining and refined service standards
- Natural leadership ability and skill in coaching and developing team members
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and reservation software
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary of $70,000–$80,000, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus paid time off.
