General Manager

About the Role

TPG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee all daily operations and strategic growth for one of our portfolio properties. You'll manage a diverse team, drive revenue, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maintain the operational excellence that defines TPG's reputation across our national collection of hotels and resorts.

What You'll Do

• Direct property operations, staffing decisions, and departmental performance across rooms, food and beverage, housekeeping, and guest services
• Develop and execute revenue optimization strategies, including pricing, marketing initiatives, and cost management
• Build and maintain positive guest relationships, respond to feedback, and drive property reputation and online ratings
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and company policies across all guest-facing and back-of-house operations
• Manage P&L responsibility, budgeting, and financial reporting to ownership and corporate leadership
• Hire, train, and lead a team while fostering a culture of service excellence and employee engagement
• Oversee property maintenance, upgrades, and capital projects

What We're Looking For

• Proven hospitality management experience, preferably as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager at a hotel or resort property
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and P&L accountability
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to build and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
• Financial acumen and comfort with budgeting and forecasting
• Strategic mindset combined with hands-on operational execution
• Knowledge of hotel management systems and hospitality technology
