About the Role
As a Journeyman Plumber with NCW, you'll take a lead role in installing, repairing, and maintaining comprehensive plumbing systems for commercial properties. Working from blueprints and construction specifications, you'll handle the full range of plumbing work—from water distribution and waste systems to gas piping and fixture installation. Your precision and knowledge of plumbing codes will ensure every system functions safely and reliably.
What You'll Do
- Install and test water, waste, gas, and drainage systems per blueprint specifications and local codes
- Perform layout, measurement, and cutting of piping materials
- Execute pipefitting, brazing, and soldering operations with exacting standards
- Set and position plumbing equipment and fixtures
- Test completed systems for leaks, pressure, and safety compliance
- Interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
- Collaborate with general contractors and construction crews to coordinate timelines and resolve on-site challenges
- Maintain tools and work areas to professional standards
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in commercial plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices
- Skilled in brazing, soldering, and various pipefitting techniques
- Ability to work efficiently and safely in active construction settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation to Noblesville job sites
