Superintendent – New Home Construction (1894)

DRB Homes is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team in Gibsonville, Guilford County, and drive the successful delivery of quality new construction homes. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead construction operations on residential projects and ensure excellence from foundation to final walkthrough.

About the Role

As a Superintendent - New Home Construction at DRB Homes, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing daily job site operations and partnering closely with our Project Managers. Your expertise will ensure each home is built to our high standards while maintaining strong customer satisfaction throughout the construction process.

What You'll Do

• Oversee construction activities on assigned residential projects, coordinating trades and crews to maintain schedule adherence
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, zoning requirements, and company standards at every construction phase
• Maintain job site safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections to protect workers and comply with regulations
• Keep model homes and job sites clean, organized, and ready for customer and inspection visits
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to verify quality workmanship and material specifications
• Conduct punch-list reviews and final walkthroughs to verify completion and address any deficiencies
• Document progress, manage daily logs, and communicate status updates to Project Managers

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a construction superintendent or site supervisor in new residential home building
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and quality standards
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple trades effectively
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of safety and quality on job sites
• Experience with construction documentation and scheduling
• Physical ability to move around job sites and perform inspections regularly
