About the Role
As a Proposal Manager at Jacobs, you'll play a central part in our bid and pursuit strategy. You'll coordinate the development of winning proposals and qualification statements that position Jacobs to secure work serving transportation agencies and infrastructure clients. This role combines strategic thinking with meticulous execution, helping Jacobs compete for and win significant projects that advance our clients' goals.
What You'll Do
- Lead or contribute to proposal development across multiple business opportunities, from initial concept through submission
- Manage qualification statements and technical submissions for TxDOT and transportation market pursuits
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to compile responsive, high-quality bid documents
- Ensure all proposals align with client requirements, company qualifications, and strategic objectives
- Track pursuit pipeline and proposal timelines to meet aggressive deadlines
- Support business development strategy to grow our transportation sector footprint
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing proposals or bid processes in engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors
- Strong understanding of government procurement and TxDOT or similar agency requirements preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information
- Demonstrated project management and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with proposal management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
