About the Role
As an Equipment Application Engineer, you'll be the technical expert bridging customer needs with innovative HVAC and refrigeration equipment solutions. You'll work at the intersection of engineering, sales support, and customer success—taking projects from initial consultation through final implementation and optimization.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate customer facility requirements and recommend appropriate equipment configurations
- Provide technical guidance throughout the equipment selection and installation process
- Collaborate with sales, installation, and service teams to ensure customer success
- Troubleshoot application challenges and develop solutions to meet performance specifications
- Conduct site assessments and prepare technical documentation and specifications
- Support ongoing customer relationships by optimizing equipment performance and efficiency
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration equipment principles and applications
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed
- Commitment to continuous learning in climate technology solutions
