About the Role
As an Experienced Test & Evaluation Lab Technician, you'll be central to ensuring measurement accuracy across Boeing's St. Louis operations. You'll work within our dedicated Test & Evaluation laboratory, performing complex calibration procedures, metrology analysis, and equipment validation that directly support production and quality objectives. This is a full-time position where your technical expertise ensures every component meets our rigorous standards.
What You'll Do
- Execute calibration procedures on precision measurement instruments and laboratory equipment using established metrology protocols
- Operate and maintain advanced test equipment, recording detailed data and generating calibration documentation
- Perform dimensional analysis and metrology verification to confirm parts and assemblies meet specification requirements
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform preventive maintenance to maximize lab uptime
- Follow test plans and procedures, maintaining comprehensive records and traceability for all calibration activities
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve measurement discrepancies and support continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with metrology standards and Boeing quality systems throughout all lab operations
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in calibration, metrology, or precision measurement laboratory environments
- Strong understanding of measurement principles, tolerances, and calibration standards
- Proficiency with precision instruments and test equipment common in aerospace laboratories
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, drawings, and test specifications accurately
