Join Insight Global, Inc. as an Azure Task Order Project Manager supporting GDIT in Washington, D.C. We're looking for an experienced professional to lead cloud infrastructure and software delivery initiatives on the Microsoft Azure platform while managing government contract task orders at our Constitution Avenue location.
About the Role
You'll serve as a technical project leader overseeing the execution and delivery of Azure-based task orders in a government contracting environment. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring on-site presence 3–5 days per week (5 preferred), with core working hours of 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A Secret-level security clearance is required.
What You'll Do
- Manage multiple concurrent task orders, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of Azure cloud projects
- Oversee technical architecture, implementation planning, and resource allocation for cloud infrastructure work
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, stakeholders, and government customers
- Track project health, manage risks, and communicate status updates to leadership and clients
- Ensure compliance with security protocols, federal requirements, and contractual obligations
- Own program execution from proposal through completion and customer handoff
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated success managing complex technology projects in a government or defense contracting setting
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure delivery
- Expertise in task order management, scope control, and program budget oversight
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to lead teams with a combination of program discipline and technical depth
- Secret-level security clearance (current or ability to obtain)
