Senior Data Architect-ETL – Big DATA- DOD SECRET with Security Clearance

Associates Systems LLC is hiring a Senior Data Architect-ETL to lead the design and delivery of enterprise data infrastructure serving mission-critical applications. This full-time position is based in Cimarron Hills, El Paso County, and requires an active or eligible DOD SECRET security clearance.

About the Role

As Senior Data Architect-ETL, you will oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale data systems that enable analytics, reporting, and operational intelligence. You'll work with stakeholders across the organization to translate business requirements into robust, secure data solutions while maintaining compliance with federal security standards.

What You'll Do

• Design and architect scalable ETL pipelines and data warehouse solutions for big data environments
• Lead the technical direction of data infrastructure projects, from requirements gathering through deployment and optimization
• Develop strategies for data integration, quality assurance, and governance across multiple data sources
• Evaluate and implement big data technologies and frameworks that meet performance and security requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts, engineers, and security personnel to deliver integrated solutions
• Mentor junior architects and technical staff in data architecture best practices
• Ensure all systems meet DOD security requirements and compliance standards

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data architectures and ETL systems
• Deep expertise with big data platforms, data warehousing, and modern data pipeline tools
• Strong understanding of data security, encryption, and compliance requirements for federal environments
• Current or ability to obtain DOD SECRET security clearance
• Advanced degree or equivalent professional experience in computer science, data engineering, or related field
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience mentoring technical teams
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
