Executive Search Network/Platinum Staffing is hiring a Director of Maintenance to lead our facilities operations in Centuck, Westchester County. This is a full-time position for an experienced maintenance leader with a strong background in healthcare or nursing home operations.
About the Role
We're looking for a seasoned facilities professional to oversee all aspects of maintenance and building operations at our Centuck location. As Director of Maintenance, you'll manage teams, budgets, preventive maintenance schedules, and vendor relationships while ensuring our facility meets the highest standards of safety and compliance. You'll be responsible for maintaining building systems, equipment, and infrastructure to support the exceptional care we deliver.
What You'll Do
- Direct and supervise the maintenance department and maintenance staff
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and schedules
- Manage facility budgets, capital equipment purchases, and vendor contracts
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards
- Oversee emergency repairs and coordinate emergency response procedures
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams on facilities matters
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in maintenance operations at a nursing home, hospital, or similar healthcare facility
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
- Familiarity with healthcare facility regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Budget management and vendor coordination experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
