Industrial Technician

Cargill is hiring an Industrial Technician in North York, York County. As a full-time member of our operations team, you'll support our facility's production systems and help maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

About the Role

This Industrial Technician position offers hands-on work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You'll be part of Cargill's global operations, supporting one of the world's largest food and agriculture companies as we work to nourish the world responsibly and sustainably.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Monitor facility systems and equipment operation throughout your shift
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs
• Document equipment status, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered
• Support safe and efficient facility operations in compliance with all safety standards
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve technical challenges
• Follow all operational and safety protocols and procedures

What We're Looking For

• Technical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operation and maintenance
• Strong mechanical or technical background, or relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety practices
• Ability to work full-time hours, including potential shift work
• Reliable transportation and valid identification
• Problem-solving skills and willingness to take initiative
