About the Role

The Sexual Abuse Prevention Manager develops, coordinates, and implements comprehensive policies, procedures, and practices focused on preventing, detecting, and responding to child abuse. You'll serve as a key leader in building a culture of accountability and safety throughout our organization, working closely with staff, families, and community partners to establish protective systems grounded in best practices and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do

• Design and refine prevention and detection protocols that strengthen safeguards for children in our care
• Lead training and education initiatives for staff and families on recognizing warning signs and reporting procedures
• Ensure organizational compliance with Florida's mandatory reporting laws and regulatory requirements
• Investigate and respond to reported concerns with sensitivity, accuracy, and appropriate escalation
• Partner with internal teams and external agencies to coordinate protective responses and support for affected individuals
• Monitor trends, assess program effectiveness, and recommend ongoing improvements to prevention strategies
• Document procedures and maintain records in accordance with legal and organizational standards

What We're Looking For

• Knowledge of child abuse prevention, detection, and trauma-informed response practices
• Familiarity with Florida child protection laws, reporting requirements, and regulatory frameworks
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments
• Excellent written and verbal communication for training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement
• Demonstrated commitment to child safety and creating trauma-informed organizational culture
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, compassion, and sound judgment
