About the Role
This is a full-time regional driving position operating a dry van over established routes primarily east of I-35, serving a stable customer base without long-haul assignments to New York City. You'll transport freight for predictable runs that keep you home every week, building routine and stability into your driving career.
What You'll Do
- Operate a commercial dry van vehicle on regional routes within your assigned territory
- Complete no-touch freight operations safely and on schedule
- Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, shippers, and receivers
- Support efficient loading and unloading operations
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
- Verifiable commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and commitment to safety compliance
- Professional communication and reliability
- Ability to manage time effectively between pickups and deliveries
Compensation & Benefits
L.J. Rogers values your experience and pays accordingly. Drivers earn between $1,500 and $2,000 per week, with top earners reaching $1,950 weekly. You'll receive weekly direct deposit, layover pay for extended stops, detention pay for delays at facilities, and breakdown pay during mechanical downtime.
