Mosquito Authority/Pest Authority - Jersey Shore in Toms River, Ocean County is hiring a full-time Wildlife Specialist to manage wildlife removal and prevention for our customers. If you have experience in wildlife control and are passionate about providing safe, humane solutions, we're looking for you to join our team.
About the Role
As a Wildlife Specialist, you'll provide expert animal removal and exclusion services to protect residential and commercial properties throughout Ocean County. This is a hands-on position combining field expertise with direct customer service, working outdoors to solve wildlife intrusion problems and implement lasting prevention solutions.
What You'll Do
- Safely capture, remove, and relocate wildlife from customer properties
- Inspect residential and commercial spaces to identify entry points and assess damage
- Install exclusion systems and barriers to prevent future wildlife access
- Educate customers on wildlife behavior and property maintenance best practices
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for each job
- Deliver reliable, courteous service and build customer relationships
- Work collaboratively with the Toms River team to meet customer needs
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in wildlife removal, trapping, or animal control
- Strong knowledge of local wildlife species and behavioral patterns
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail in complex situations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical capability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather
- Commitment to humane and safe wildlife management practices
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and professional customer communication
