About the Role
You'll bring seasoned editorial judgment to a dynamic team producing some of our most-read content. This role combines hands-on editing with strategic leadership, as you guide writers through the editorial process and help set the narrative direction for our newsletter portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Manage the editorial lifecycle for newsletter stories—from initial pitch through publication—ensuring compelling storytelling at every stage
- Supervise and mentor staff writers, providing substantive feedback that sharpens narrative angles and strengthens reporting
- Collaborate with fellow editors to develop story ideas, identify emerging themes, and maintain editorial coherence across platforms
- Craft headlines and subject lines that capture reader attention while accurately reflecting story content
- Make rapid editorial decisions in a fast-paced environment where timing and quality both matter
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an editor, ideally in digital media or newsletter publishing
- Deep understanding of what makes stories resonate with readers
- Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining editorial independence
- Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to clarity, style, and impact
- Comfort adapting quickly to new tools, platforms, and audience priorities
- Track record of managing writers and developing editorial talent
