Dauntless Discovery, a respected regional law practice with national scope, is hiring an Associate Attorney for our Labor & Employment practice in Buffalo, Erie County. This full-time position welcomes an experienced attorney to represent corporate clients through complex workplace matters, from preventive counseling to dispute resolution.
About the Role
You'll provide strategic legal guidance to corporate clients across the breadth of Labor & Employment law. This role combines counseling on compliance and workplace policy with representation in employment-related disputes and litigation, allowing you to deepen client relationships while addressing their most pressing labor and employment challenges.
What You'll Do
- Counsel corporate clients on employment law compliance, risk mitigation, and workplace policies under federal, state, and local regulations
- Represent clients in employment disputes, negotiations, and litigation proceedings
- Draft and review employment-related agreements, policies, and legal documents with precision and attention to detail
- Conduct legal research and analysis on employment law developments that impact client operations
- Develop and maintain client relationships through proactive, solution-focused legal counsel
- Stay current with evolving employment law trends and regulatory changes
What We're Looking For
- 2–7 years of professional experience in Labor & Employment law, corporate client representation, or related practice
- Proven expertise in employment law matters and workplace counseling
- Strong academic foundation and commitment to legal excellence
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Superior writing and communication abilities, essential for client interaction and legal documentation
