Arconic is recruiting a skilled Anodize Technician for full-time work on the 12-hour night shift at its Cranberry Township manufacturing facility in Butler County. This is an immediate opening in a commercial aluminum products manufacturing operation serving customers across the nation. Compensation includes competitive hourly wages, shift differential pay, and a $1,000 retention bonus.
About the Role
You'll operate anodizing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where precision and quality are paramount. Your night shift work (6pm–6am) contributes directly to the production of aluminum components supplied to the commercial window and architectural industries nationwide. This is a hands-on position combining equipment operation, quality control, and process management.
Main Responsibilities
- Operate anodizing tanks and chemical processing equipment
- Monitor and maintain chemical concentrations, temperatures, and process parameters
- Load and unload aluminum parts through anodizing and finishing stages
- Conduct quality inspections on finished components
- Record production data and chemical usage
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and work area safety standards
- Troubleshoot routine equipment concerns and coordinate with supervisors
Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior experience with anodizing, metal finishing, or similar manufacturing operations
- Ability to work consistently on the 6pm–6am night shift schedule
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Mechanical aptitude and equipment operation experience
- Reliability, punctuality, and professional work ethic
- Basic mathematical skills for chemical measurement and tracking
Compensation
This position offers an hourly wage of $22.02–$23.80, plus $1 per hour night shift differential and a $1,000 retention bonus.
