About the Role
As CEO of Lighthouse Mission, you will shape the strategic vision and direction of a faith-driven charitable organization founded in 1923. You'll provide executive leadership, guide board governance, and ensure the organization's ministry aligns with its core values while expanding impact across Bellingham's most vulnerable populations.
What You'll Do
- Set strategic priorities and lead the organization toward its mission of addressing homelessness through a relational, Jesus-centered approach
- Oversee a team of 51 full-time and 6 part-time staff members, fostering a culture rooted in faith, compassion, and excellence
- Build and maintain partnerships with donors, community organizations, churches, and government agencies to sustain and expand programs
- Direct the organization's continuum of care approach, ensuring effective outreach and support services reach those experiencing homelessness
- Represent Lighthouse Mission to the board, community, and stakeholders with transparency and integrity
- Develop budgets, manage finances, and ensure responsible stewardship of resources
What We're Looking For
- Executive leadership experience, ideally in nonprofit, faith-based, or social services sectors
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive organizational strategy
- An authentic Christian faith and commitment to Christ-centered ministry approaches
- Passionate conviction about addressing homelessness and serving marginalized communities
- Strong fundraising, communication, and community relationship-building skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent leadership experience
