About the Role
As a Bakery/Cake Decorator, you'll be the creative force behind our bakery department, crafting custom cakes and decorated baked goods that keep customers coming back. You'll work closely with our bakery team to ensure every item meets our quality standards while contributing to departmental sales and profit goals.
What You'll Do
- Decorate cakes, cupcakes, pastries, and other baked goods with precision and artistry
- Prepare specialty orders and custom designs based on customer requests
- Maintain meticulous food safety and sanitation standards throughout the bakery
- Create an inviting, clean, and organized bakery environment
- Assist in monitoring inventory and rotating stock
- Provide outstanding customer service and product knowledge
- Support the bakery manager in achieving departmental goals
What We're Looking For
- Experience with cake decorating or working in a bakery environment
- Creative eye for design, color, and presentation
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle equipment and materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
