About the Role
As a Finishing Operator I at our Spokane County location, you'll perform surface finishing tasks including grinding, polishing, coating, or treating components to meet engineering specifications. Working in our Liberty Park facility, you'll operate finishing equipment, apply finishes according to work instructions, and maintain a clean, organized workstation. This is a foundational production role ideal for someone beginning a career in manufacturing and finishing operations.
What You'll Do
- Operate finishing equipment and machinery according to established procedures
- Apply finishes, coatings, or treatments to parts and assemblies
- Inspect finished components for defects, dimensional accuracy, and quality compliance
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and finishing specifications
- Clean and prepare parts prior to finishing operations
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Report equipment issues and coordinate with team leads
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship offered)
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Basic ability to read specifications, measurements, and production documentation
