About the Role

As a Test Engineer specializing in camera and sensing systems at Snap Inc., you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of imaging technology that defines how people express themselves and connect. This is a full-time position based in our Eldorado Springs facility, working directly with hardware teams to develop comprehensive testing strategies and validate next-generation camera and sensor platforms.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement test frameworks and automation for camera hardware, image sensors, and sensing modules
• Execute functional, performance, and reliability testing on camera systems and related sensing technologies
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot hardware defects and integration issues across camera and sensing subsystems
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, firmware, and software teams to validate end-to-end camera and sensing functionality
• Develop test methodologies and validation procedures for camera image quality, sensor performance, and system integration
• Analyze test data, create reports, and provide recommendations for hardware improvements and optimization
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing infrastructure and processes for camera and sensing platforms

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
• Experience testing hardware systems, particularly camera or sensor technologies
• Strong programming skills in Python, C, C++, or similar languages for test automation
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies, quality assurance practices, and debugging techniques
• Experience with hardware-software integration and validation
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams
