Systems Engineer Senior

Advocate Health and Hospitals Corporation seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to strengthen the technical foundation of our enterprise network infrastructure. Based in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, this full-time role reports to the Enterprise Corporate Network & Telecommunications Engineering team and offers the opportunity to drive system performance and reliability across a major healthcare organization.

About the Role

As Senior Systems Engineer, you'll own the stability and performance of critical network systems that connect our healthcare facilities and corporate operations. Working 40 hours per week on the first shift, you'll combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic thinking to optimize enterprise infrastructure, troubleshoot complex issues, and guide network evolution in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and maintain network systems to meet established performance standards and service-level agreements
• Diagnose and resolve system and network issues, minimizing downtime and impact to clinical operations
• Design, implement, and document network solutions that align with enterprise architecture and security requirements
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond to critical infrastructure events and support business continuity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Charlotte region to deliver reliable, secure network services
• Contribute to capacity planning, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvement initiatives
