About the Role

As a Kia Technician at our Herman location, you'll perform comprehensive diagnostic testing, maintenance, and repairs on Kia vehicles and our complete service inventory. What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and transmission systems on vehicles
• Perform scheduled maintenance including oil changes, fluid services, and brake inspections
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and repair manuals to troubleshoot complex issues
• Document work performed and communicate findings clearly to service advisors and customers
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to all safety standards
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to complete repairs efficiently and accurately

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an automotive technician or heavy-duty mechanic
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and shop management software
• ASE certification preferred but not required
• Strong problem-solving ability and meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to professional growth and quality workmanship
