About the Role
As an Automotive Mechanic with Mavis Tire Supply, you'll perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance work. This is a hands-on position where your technical expertise directly impacts customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. You'll work on a variety of makes and models, tackling everything from routine tire services to complex mechanical repairs.
What You'll Do
- Execute vehicle inspections and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform tire installation, balancing, rotation, and repair services
- Conduct preventive maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Repair suspension, brake, and drivetrain components
- Operate diagnostic equipment and follow manufacturer service standards
- Document all work accurately and communicate findings to customers
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to safety protocols
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license and a professional driving record
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or equivalent hands-on training
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and lift equipment safely
- Customer service orientation and clear communication skills
- Commitment to quality workmanship and vehicle safety
- ASE certification a plus, though we value experience equally
