About the Role

This full-time on-call/relief position is part of our Youth Services Department and reports to the Program Manager. You'll work flexible hours to provide direct support to at-risk youth ages up to 24 in our residential program. As a non-exempt position, you'll receive hourly compensation of $21.00, with sick leave accruals and benefits provided by the Center.

What You'll Do

  • Provide direct residential supervision and mentoring to youth participants in a supportive, affirming environment
  • Respond to on-call availability requests to fill relief shifts as needed to maintain 24/7 program coverage
  • Support youth through crisis situations with compassionate, de-escalation-focused responses
  • Maintain thorough documentation of youth interactions, incidents, and progress
  • Create and facilitate structured activities that build community and promote personal growth
  • Enforce program policies and safety protocols while maintaining respectful, trauma-informed relationships
  • Collaborate with program leadership and clinical staff to support youth wellbeing and development goals

  • Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in a residential setting
  • Willingness to support the Center's mission of affirming all LGBTQ+ individuals
