FieldCore is looking for an experienced Electrical Technical Field Advisor to support our growing energy operations across the United States. In this full-time, field-based role, you'll provide expert technical guidance and on-site troubleshooting for our electrical systems and infrastructure.
About the Role
As an experienced Electrical Technical Field Advisor, you'll be at the front lines of our energy operations, delivering technical expertise to support system performance, safety, and reliability. You'll work across our Power, Wind, and Electrification businesses, solving complex electrical challenges and ensuring our equipment and installations meet the highest technical standards.
What You'll Do
- Conduct on-site electrical inspections, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations of equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and recommend solutions based on industry best practices and technical standards
- Provide technical guidance to field teams, customers, and internal stakeholders on electrical systems and safety protocols
- Document findings, observations, and recommendations with clear, accurate technical reports
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company electrical standards on all site visits
- Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure and components
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an electrical field technician, field engineer, or technical advisor
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and troubleshooting methodologies
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability to work independently in field environments and manage your own schedule
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across your assigned region
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance in all field operations
