Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist - Artificial Lift System for our operations in Midland, Midland County. This is a full-time position supporting our Artificial Lift division, where you'll maintain and optimize the intelligent, connected systems that monitor and control oil and gas extraction assets in the field.
About the Role
Our Artificial Lift division develops and deploys advanced technologies for efficient energy extraction. As a Field Specialist, you'll work directly with these systems, supporting teams that collaborate to solve real technical challenges. You'll be responsible for keeping critical lift equipment operational and helping our clients maximize production reliability.
What You'll Do
- Install, service, and troubleshoot artificial lift systems and components at job sites
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with electric submersible pump (ESP) systems and related equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections to ensure system reliability
- Collaborate with field teams and engineering specialists to optimize equipment performance
- Document system repairs, maintenance activities, and performance data
- Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements in all field operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within your team

- Technical background in mechanical systems, electrical systems, or related field experience
- Practical troubleshooting and hands-on problem-solving abilities
