About the Role
Operating automated chemistry analyzers is at the heart of this position. You'll work Thursday through Monday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, as part of the skilled team ensuring continuous laboratory operations. Your work directly impacts the accuracy and speed of diagnostic results that patients depend on.
What You'll Do
- Operate and monitor automated chemistry analysis systems and related laboratory equipment
- Process patient specimens according to established protocols and quality standards
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues
- Document test results and maintain accurate records
- Execute quality control procedures to verify testing accuracy
- Support inventory management and supply coordination
- Follow laboratory safety and compliance procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work the Thursday-Monday night shift schedule (10:00 PM to 6:30 AM)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
- Basic computer proficiency and eagerness to master laboratory information systems
- Physical capability to stand extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Reliable, professional demeanor in a high-volume laboratory setting
Compensation
This position offers an hourly rate of $20.00 per hour. Eligible team members may receive shift differential compensation up to 15% for night shift hours, with full details provided upon offer.
