Ascensus is hiring a Relationship Manager to join our team in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County. In this full-time role, you'll serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing relationships across our qualified defined contribution retirement plan record-keeping platform while driving operational excellence and client satisfaction.
About the Role
As Relationship Manager, you'll be the dedicated liaison between Ascensus and our clients, ensuring smooth administration of their retirement plans while supporting our internal teams. This position combines client management, problem resolution, and process optimization to deliver exceptional service across your assigned book of business.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the key point of contact for assigned relationships and qualified defined contribution retirement plans
- Build and maintain strong client partnerships through proactive communication and responsive service delivery
- Escalate and resolve team-based issues, translating client needs into actionable internal priorities
- Document processes, procedures, and interactions to ensure consistency and knowledge continuity
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
- Support record-keeping platform operations and ensure accurate client administration

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build professional relationships
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple client priorities
- Collaborative problem-solver who works effectively across team boundaries
- Comfort with business systems and platforms; familiarity with record-keeping software is a plus

- Ability to work full-time on-site in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County
