About the Role

WATG is seeking an experienced Senior Designer I to contribute to our award-winning design practice. In this full-time position based in Atlantic City, you'll play a key role in shaping exceptional guest experiences through thoughtful, innovative design. You'll partner with our global team of creative professionals to deliver world-class concepts that set industry standards for destination and hospitality environments.

What You'll Do

• Lead design development from conceptual phases through detailed execution for hospitality and destination projects
• Create compelling design narratives and visual presentations for client reviews and stakeholder engagement
• Collaborate across disciplines with architects, planners, and consultants to integrate design vision across project scope
• Establish and maintain design quality standards while mentoring junior team members
• Translate project briefs and client objectives into distinctive, experience-driven design solutions
• Contribute to design strategy and concept development for diverse project types and scales

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional design experience in hospitality, resort, or destination design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and executed projects
• Proficiency with design software and visualization tools
• Proven ability to communicate design ideas clearly to clients and internal teams
• Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal and project management skills
• Bachelor's degree in design, architecture, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Passion for creating meaningful spaces that enhance human experience
