Ernesta is seeking a Sales and Design Consultant to join our team in Summit, Union County on a full-time basis. You'll guide customers through the process of selecting and customizing beautiful rugs that perfectly fit their homes and gathering spaces.
About the Role
In this Sales and Design Consultant position, you'll serve as the bridge between our customers and our custom rug offerings. You'll combine sales expertise with design knowledge to help clients discover solutions that enhance their spaces while providing exceptional service every step of the way.
What You'll Do
- Consult with customers on custom rug sizing, color selection, materials, and design preferences
- Walk clients through the entire ordering process from initial consultation through final delivery
- Communicate the advantages of custom-cut rugs, including superior fit and value compared to standard sizes
- Develop relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage future purchases
- Process orders with accuracy and attention to detail while contributing to sales targets
- Stay informed about Ernesta's rug collections and customization capabilities
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in sales or customer-facing roles with a consultative approach
- An eye for design and genuine interest in home aesthetics and décor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Skill in translating customer needs into thoughtful product recommendations
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities
- Enthusiasm for helping people discover products that make their homes more beautiful and functional
