This full-time Title Attorney position offers the opportunity to build a meaningful career in real estate law within a collaborative, forward-thinking legal environment. You'll take on a central role in title operations, managing a wide range of transactions while developing expertise across all aspects of title work in West Virginia.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive title searches and analyze title reports to identify and resolve issues before closing
• Prepare and review closing documents, including deeds, mortgages, and closing statements
• Oversee real estate transactions from initiation through final settlement
• Advise clients on title matters, defects, and available remedies
• Manage title insurance underwriting and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, and other parties to ensure smooth transaction completion
• Maintain detailed transaction records and documentation

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor degree and active West Virginia bar license
• Experience in title law, real estate law, or related practice areas
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document review
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
• Knowledge of West Virginia real estate laws and title requirements
