About the Role
This Student Assistance Paraprofessional I position is based at a Title I school site and runs on a contract basis through the duration of need. Your work directly supports both teachers and students, helping to create effective, supportive learning environments. The role begins August 12, 2026.
What You'll Do
- Provide instructional support under teacher direction across classroom activities
- Work with small groups and individual students on academic skill development
- Assist with classroom management and create positive student learning experiences
- Prepare and organize instructional materials and learning resources
- Monitor and document student progress, communicating observations to teachers
- Support students' social-emotional development and school engagement
What We're Looking For
- Completion of at least 48 semester hours of college-level coursework (requirement for Title I paraprofessional roles)
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
