About the Role

As a Prepared Foods Team Member, you'll play a vital role in our daily kitchen operations. Collaborating with experienced kitchen staff, you'll help transform fresh ingredients into the prepared foods that our customers rely on. This position combines core food-handling skills with a strong commitment to consistency, food safety, and quality standards in everything we produce.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, wash, chop, and portion fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and other ingredients according to daily production schedules
• Execute Berkshire Food Co-op recipes and established food preparation procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
• Uphold rigorous food safety and kitchen sanitation standards throughout each shift
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to meet daily production targets and maintain product quality
• Handle ingredients responsibly to minimize waste and preserve freshness

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience or comfort with food preparation and handling fresh ingredients
