Machine Maintenance Technician I

Stratasys is hiring a Machine Maintenance Technician I for full-time work at our manufacturing facility in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. This is a hands-on position supporting production operations on the first shift (Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.) in a world-leading additive manufacturing environment.

About the Role

The Machine Maintenance Technician I is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure continuous, safe production operations. You'll work directly with machinery that powers our 3D printing manufacturing processes, combining mechanical problem-solving with hands-on technical skills to keep our facility running efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Execute preventive maintenance schedules on production machinery and equipment systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues to minimize downtime
• Respond promptly to equipment failures and perform corrective maintenance
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment conditions in system records
• Collaborate with machine operators and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges
• Inspect equipment components and recommend maintenance improvements
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational technical training or certification preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose equipment problems systematically
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a manufacturing environment
• Basic troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn equipment-specific systems
