Marvel Refrigeration
Join Marvel Refrigeration as a Refrigeration Repair Technician in Greenville, Michigan, where you'll maintain and troubleshoot critical refrigeration systems for our premium manufacturing and service operations. This is a full-time, first-shift position reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, working 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
About the Role
As a Refrigeration Repair Technician, you'll be essential to keeping our production lines running smoothly. You'll perform preventive maintenance, diagnose system failures, and execute repairs on commercial refrigeration and ice product equipment. This hands-on role combines technical troubleshooting with routine inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.
What You'll Do
- Inspect, service, and repair refrigeration systems and components
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using testing equipment
- Perform scheduled maintenance and preventive service work
- Replace worn parts, seals, and refrigerant as needed
- Document all maintenance and repair activities
- Work collaboratively with the production team to resolve equipment challenges
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols
What We're Looking For
- Experience with commercial refrigeration systems and repair
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical diagrams and equipment manuals
- Valid EPA 608 certification or willingness to obtain it
- Reliable, detail-oriented approach to work
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and work in various positions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
